Normandy BeachesD-Day 6th June 2009 : These are photographs from my recent trip to Normandy for the D-Day commemorations on the 6th June. My main objective was to be on Omaha beach at sunrise on the 6th June, the same time that the landings commenced. This was something that I managed to accomplish and have some photographs of the sunrise later in the gallery.
